Travelling through the eternal spacial night
our small spaceship
met with that probe called Voyager.
The discovery caused a great shock,
the futile cosmos stopped time.
We are not alone in this damned universe.
In the probe we found
sweet love songs,
images, strange beings
from a distant and better world.
What a peculiar species!
A human being will be
the one to put an end to pain.
Our wise men had to conclude
that such a civilization
would have found at last peace and harmony.
They must've banished wars,
famine, inequalities, borders.
They have to teach us sing such beautiful melodies.
Heading for that blue planet
-Earth, they called it-,
those who will give light
to this dark universe.
We laughed (someone cried).
All the crew
was a bundle of nerves.
Our mind started to fly:
their green forests, their deep sea,
will shine immaculate under a clean sky.
We decided to land at last
in the place where the zenith of mankind would be:
Africa, where the original humans first lived.
What a great celebration,
the night was coming to an end,
soon a beautiful lesson
will teach us how to live.
